Bubbles, pastels, and parasols! Allison and Brett’s wedding is the epitome of spring weddings.

Remembering the beautiful day, Allison, tells us: “It was just special having our friends and family in one place! We will never be surrounded by all these people again and we really tried to remember that throughout the day.” One of the ways they celebrated their guests, was by having live wedding painter, Kelsey Shields Art, paint watercolor portraits of their guests during the reception. It was a favor to give their guests, as well as perfectly fitting in to the overall sophistication and pep of the wedding day.

The couple’s ceremony was a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony held at the very same church Allison was baptized in. Not only that, but the 5 Greek priests assisting in the ceremony all played an important role in Allison’s life growing up. She reflects that it made the ceremony that much more special to her. Afterwards, their wedding reception took place at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Unique details of baby blue, bursts of florals, a cannoli tower, and trucker hats were some of the personal touches the couple brought into their day to make it wholly them within the traditional celebrations. Once dancing was opened up after dinner, the whole crowd was on their feet, dancing and celebrating Allison and Brett into the night.
