The Wedding
Prior to arriving at their wedding venue, Lauren got ready for the big day with her bridal party at her parents’ home. Looks by Tori did Lauren’s beautiful bridal hair and makeup, while Lola Beauty created stunning hair and makeup looks for the bridesmaids. Lauren then donned her Eva Lendel gown from Anna Bé Bridal, completing the look with Loeffler Randall shoes, Swarovski jewelry, and wedding band from Amoroso Jewelers. Adam, meanwhile, got ready with his groomsmen at a nearby AirBnB where he donned his suit from Ted’s Clothiers and his own ring from Amoroso Jewelers.
Lauren and Adam’s wedding unfolded among the serene late-summer landscapes of the Denver Botanic Gardens — a celebration filled with romance, garden elegance, and the soft transition of the seasons. The color palette blended cream, blush, peony pink, and soft greens, accented with hints of lavender and the first tones of early autumn peeking through the grounds. Their ceremony took place in the intimate Romantic Garden, framed by rose bushes, manicured cedar hedges, and the warm glow of early-evening sunlight. Surrounded by natural blooms and refined detailing, guests witnessed the couple exchange vows in a setting that felt timeless and deeply personal.
Following the ceremony, guests wandered through the winding garden paths as they made their way to cocktail hour with live music from Hipster Mama Productions. Specialty cocktails by Epicurean Catering were served in hand-selected stemware, and guests mingled among the flowers, on benches and small bistro style seating nestled among the Annuals Garden, surrounded by vibrant late-summer flowers. Reception tables and chairs were provided by Colorado Party Rentals with luxury linens by BBJ La Tavola, and a custom Chinoiserie-style escort installation welcomed guests with a soft botanical pattern of birds and delicate fauna in pale pinks and greens — a thoughtful nod to the bride’s love of birds and her passion as a novice bird watcher. With the wedding set among the gardens, the motif carried beautifully through the stationery by House Fourteen, from the invitation suite to the reception details. At each place setting, Enjoué’s historic Wild Bird plates — each depicting one of the Four Seasons — continued the narrative, creating a personal and cohesive visual thread. Clear boxes filled with delicate macarons, tied with personalized name cards, added a charming, edible touch to the seating experience.
Before dinner began, the bride and groom shared their first dance, with music and lighting by Elite Entertainment, just steps from the reception area, setting a joyful tone for the evening ahead. After dinner provided by Epicurean Catering, toasts, and the cutting of the gorgeous cake by Gingerly Baked, guests followed the lantern-lit pathways through the Gardens to Marnie’s Pavilion for a lively late-night celebration. The Pavilion’s interior — part tropical solarium and part contemporary event space — offered two levels for mingling, dancing, and enjoying savory late-night snacks and the surprise of an ice-cream station. As the evening came to a close, friends and family showered the couple with silver streamers beneath the stars. The bride and groom departed in a vintage Mustang convertible provided by House Fourteen, and guests were gifted macaroons from Black Knife Bakery as the perfectly sweet parting gift to a perfect summer wedding.
Their entire day was masterfully accentuated by stunning florals from Bella Lu Florals, while Shelly Anderson Photography captured beautiful photographs and Austin Francis Sylvest provided exceptional videography.
Lauren & Adam’s Favorite Memory
When asked what their favorite wedding day memory was, Lauren says, “it’s so hard to pick, but my favorite memory has to be my dad’s speech. He traveled for work for a lot of my childhood and before he would leave on his trips, I used to draw him pictures. I didn’t know until our wedding day that he had held onto them all. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as he talked about what I meant to him as a daughter and his joy for me as I married Adam.”
Advice From the Couple
Lauren and Adam emphasis the value of teamwork and relying on not only your loved ones, but also a dedicated team of vendors that you trust to bring your day to life. They tell us, “Together we were able to create a day more perfect than I ever could have imagined,” when reflecting on the collaborative efforts of their family and vendors in pulling off their wedding day.
