Vows That Wow – Brynna & Johno

Here at Wed Society, we continually receive and feature stunning weddings from across Colorado, thanks to the ever talented vendors and amazing couples who submit to us. Each month, we choose one of those weddings that is truly stunning to specially showcase.

For July, we are thrilled to feature Brynna and Johno’s romantic wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch. Scroll through to discover more about their special day and experience the joy, love, and beauty of their wedding.

The Wedding

Brynna and Johno’s gorgeous, summer wedding was held at Spruce Mountain Ranch where they were treated to rolling mountain views and the luxurious, real ranch charm of their iconic venue. Their day was a blend of classic elegance meets authentic celebration. Thanks to the careful month of coordination from Mountain Magnolia Weddings & Events, Brynna and Johno’s wedding day went off without a hitch.

The morning of the wedding, Johno enjoyed playing pool with his groomsmen prior to donning his attire from The Black Tux. Brynna, meanwhile, got ready with her bridal party and mother, who helped her into her Justin Alexander dress from The Bridal Collection, as well as her Dolce Vita bridal shoes. Ally’s Beauty Bar highlighted Brynna’s natural beauty with soft waves and a natural glam makeup look.

Once ready, the couple snuck away with their photographer, Claire Kreklow Photography, for their private first look surrounded by evergreens. After sharing an emotional first look, the two dove straight into their couples portraits, followed by their family and wedding party portraits prior to their outdoor ceremony at Spruce Mountain Ranch’s pavilion showcasing the uninterrupted mountain views. With gorgeous, classic white florals provided by Sweetwater A Flower Market, the already stunning ceremony site was elevated to the ultimate luxurious setting for the perfect backdrop to the couple’s heartfelt ceremony officiated by their close friend. The two exchanged their rings, with Johno’s ring being his father’s old ring, and Brynna’s being a beautiful set from The Diamond Reserve.

After their ceremony, the event flowed into the cocktail hour where the couple was able to mix and mingle with their loved ones. To theirs and their guests’ delight, adorable beverage burros from Rocky Mountain Beverage Burro provided drinks from their baskets and were the perfect models, posing with the couple and guests alike for photos. At the conclusion of cocktail hour, the reception was located indoors inside of Albert’s Lodge at Spruce Mountain Ranch. The inside of the lodge was transformed into a truly spectacular setting with rentals and decor from Event Rents and Colorado Lighting and Event Services. Biscuits and Berries provided the delicious food for the evening and the couple fondly shares that they were their favorite vendor. Throughout the night, Peak Beverage provided mouthwatering drinks and top shelf bartending service, and Sugarplum Cake Shoppe crafted the stunning cake.

Once the dance floor was opened up, HomeSlice Band brought everyone to their feet for an epic dance party. When rain unexpectedly rolled in, Brynna and Johno knew it was a moment they’d never forget as they ran outside with their guests to dance in the rain and create lifelong memories. At the end of the night, the two were sent off with Denver Limousines driving them away into the night.

Brynna & Johno’s Favorite Memory

While rain can be a damper on many couple’s wedding vision, for Brynna and Johno it was the opposite. They fully embraced the moment when the rain came during their reception and created cherished memories. Upon reflection, they told us that this unplanned moment was their favorite memory of the day.

Advice From the Couple

When asked what advice they’d give to other couples planning their weddings, Brynna and Johno remarked on the importance of not listening to everyone’s opinions. Your wedding day is ultimately about you and your future spouse, so at the end of the day, it’s only your opinions that matter when deciding how you want your wedding day to be.
