Taryn and Scott’s dreamy, garden party wedding in Larkspur, Colorado was a beautiful celebration bursting with bright colors, joy, and intention. With sunny skies and lakeside mountain views, the entire day was outdoors by the water at Perry Park Country Club.
The bride, Taryn, tells us: “The day was so much more than just our wedding, it celebrated the transition from our lives as individuals to our life together. During our whole engagement process we made sure to plan and prepare for our marriage more than we did for the wedding, and if we ever felt tired and overwhelmed during the wedding planning process we would pivot and focus on growing our relationship to take this next step. We attended premarital counseling with a pastor from our church and did workbook exercises together to learn more about one another, what our biggest areas of conflict could be, creating guidelines to follow when we are in disagreements, and learning how we each need to be loved.”
One of the couple’s top priorities for their wedding day was ensuring that they were fully present and having fun with their loved ones. During their cocktail hour, they invited their guests to join them on the driving range for a truly unique and memorable experience! Throughout their reception, Taryn and Scott danced the night away alongside their guests, complete with sunset first dances and being tossed in the air by their friends at the end of the night.
