Macey and Jason’s Crested Butte wedding inspired by vintage 70’s prom, blending subtle nostalgia with understated glamour has our whole heart! The couple wanted their best day to reflect their style and love for retro music, leading them to very intentional choices to curate a day full of details that not only aligned with their vision, but also felt like them. Macey thrifted many of the details from estate sales, vintage shops, and thrift stores to find gems from the ’70’s.
Jason tells us, “sitting at the table with Macey as my wife, eating good food, while looking out and seeing all our friends and family celebrating us and our love in a beautiful location,” is his favorite wedding day memory. Macey adds, “seeing Jason for the first time during our first look, as soon as I saw him I no longer cared about anything except just us in that moment. I was so excited to marry him.” Their wedding day food was also a very intentional choice. “We went with Wildfire Cuisine because we wanted something fun and different for our wedding food and that matched the mountain landscape vibes. People are still talking about the food to me and how it was the best food they ever had.” Not only that, they also swapped the traditional champagne toast for a Dr. Pepper toast!
