Hotel Colorado

Hotel Colorado was built in 1893 by Walter Devereux, a silver baron and early settler of Glenwood Springs, when the West was booming with the excitement of gold and silver mining. Fondly called the “Grande Dame,” Hotel Colorado was built to attract the wealthy and elite, featuring many luxurious amenities. Throughout its history, the hotel has been used as a temporary White House, as a place of healing for the U.S. Navy during the World War II years, and a community focal point from its inception. Ownership of the hotel changed hands frequently until the early 1990s, when the hotel was gradually restored to its former glory.

Today, Hotel Colorado is a beautiful step back in time, inviting you to enjoy the cool mountain air, healing hot springs, exceptional service, and memories made with your loved ones. With its all-inclusive amenities, Hotel Colorado offers the perfect space for you and your loved ones to celebrate your wedding.

Spruce Mountain Ranch

Spruce Mountain Ranch was once a section of terrain on the Ben Lomond Ranch in 1871. The Ben Lomond Ranch property comprised thousands of acres of land, being a successful dairy farm and used to cultivate oats, millet, and hay. Throughout the following decades, the Ranch’s ownership changed hands multiple times and was used for different farming purposes, including for cattle and farming wheat and oats. In March 1999, Tom and Lois Ames purchased the property and used part of the acreage to develop what would become known as Spruce Mountain Ranch.

Today, Spruce Mountain Ranch is a beautiful, scenic venue with two different ceremony sites. Here, Colorado style comes to life with rustic elegance. Spruce Mountain Ranch provides a thoughtful, historic space with handcrafted details, set against the backdrop of sweeping Rocky Mountain views.

Rockin' S Ranch

Northern Colorado’s Rockin’ S Ranch is a venue that balances rustic beauty with romance, offering an intimate and inviting space to celebrate love stories. Rockin’ S started out as a 1950s open-air dairy barn. Chris, the owner and founder of Rockin’ S, purchased the property in 2011 and lovingly breathed new life into the space. Chris saw the potential and beauty of the farm, while also feeling drawn to its history and natural charm.

While maintaining the farm’s natural and rustic appeal, Chris has transformed the space into an inviting and romantic venue where wedding celebrations and love stories unfold. With Rockin’ S Ranch’s historic open-air 1950s barn, tranquil pond, and carefully landscaped courtyard set to the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this is undoubtedly a special place to let your wedding celebration dreams unfold.

Lazy Stud Ranch

Lazy Stud Ranch sits tucked at the footstep of the Rocky Mountains in the charming town of Lyons. Owned by Kyle and Mariah Braly, the land comprising Lazy Stud Ranch has been in the Braly family for generations. Kyle is third generation on the property and continues to bring the family vision and dream to life, having designed much of the venue. He also created the rock walls seen throughout the property. Lazy Stud Ranch is rooted in tradition, care, and unforgettable, meaningful memories that are unique to the Rocky Mountain Foothills. Long before it became a wedding venue, it was a place for gathering, celebrating, and cherishing moments with loved ones.

In 2023, Kyle and Mariah Braly knew the natural and incomparable beauty of the land was a perfect space to celebrate couples’ most special moments. Lazy Stud Ranch today is both a farm and a venue, offering an intimate, gorgeous space for couples to celebrate their wedding with their loved ones.
