Romance meets mountain charm in Ginny and Conor’s whimsical wedding in Grand Lake with planning by the ever talented Mountain Magnolia Weddings & Events. With stunning views all around, the couple opted for minimalist, whimsical decor by Colorado Party Rentals with bursts of florals that complimented the natural beauty of their venue’s location.
Ginny reminisces on her favorite wedding memory, saying, “the morning of our wedding was perfect in so many ways. We woke up together, made coffee, and took the boat out—just the two of us. The sun was rising, the lake was completely still, and we were the only ones out there. That’s when we read our vows to each other, and it was such a special, peaceful moment. Afterward, Conor picked up his friends to spend some time on the water, and I went back to the house to relax with my girlfriends on the dock. We were able to carve out meaningful time with each other and our closest friends, which was really important to us.” Conor goes on to tell us, “our first look was a special and exciting moment – to me, it felt like this was when our wedding truly began. After spending the morning outside with friends, the anticipation of the day steadily building, getting the cue to take my walk down the dock to await Ginny’s arrival was an unforgettable moment. Standing by the water while Ginny walked toward me felt perfectly ‘us’ , exactly as it should be.”
