We can’t get over these gorgeous fall colors and all the meticulous details of Kayla and Marcos’ wedding! Their downtown Denver wedding captured by the amazing Alison Brooke Photography was a perfect blend of the couple’s love for autumn, highlighting their Mexican culture, and celebrating with their loved ones.

With majority of their guests coming from out of state, Kayla and Marcos wanted to share their love for Colorado with those guests coming to the state for the first time. The couple had this to say about their special day: “Our vision was “fall in the city” meets “fall in Colorado” – since Upper Larimer has a lot of the classic red brick characteristics of many of the buildings in Denver, it felt like a bit of an urban element, which we liked! We’re very much city people so it felt like it fit our vibes perfectly. Coming from Arizona, we both had never experienced a true fall and our first year in Colorado we were instantly amazed at how beautiful fall colors can be. We wanted to also provide our guests with a Colorado-style experience since most of them were traveling from out of state. That all came together in the form of a burnt orange/earthy type of color palette, and also by choosing dishes for our dinner that are Colorado specific (such as Colorado trout).”

Kayla & Marcos had a Catholic ceremony at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Mariachi played throughout the ceremony, and they included traditions special to their Mexican culture including exchanging of the arras and the lasso. Afterwards, their reception took place at Upper Larimer where the two had a live Banda that kept the energy high as the celebration continued into the night. Their bartender, Peak Beverage, provided exceptional drinks and service throughout the reception. Kayla and Marcos’ beautiful wedding day was rounded out with cake cutting and a dance floor filled with laughter and love!
